Welcome to Rustington Cricket Club

Rustington cricket club is a small well established friendly village club on the Sussex coast, with amazing bar facilities, a good pitch and a great team ethic.

The cricket club was established in 1892 and celebrated its centenary in 1992 by playing a Sussex CCC squad, which included Ian Salisbury in his debut year for England.

The club started league cricket in 1979 and continues today with 3 Saturday league teams in the Sussex Cricket League and a Sunday friendly team.

Rustington cricket club is also promoting a juniors section where all juniors are welcome from all abilities and age groups.

We have a state of the art outdoor twin lane net facility funded by the club providing all weather training.

The club has achieved the ECB's clubmark status, meaning we are a safe club to play for, and we follow the strict guidelines on kids coaching.

PROMOTED Our First XI have done it!! Back-to-back promotions means that we will be playing in Division 3 West for the first time in the club's history. Its been an incredible season, and it was topped off by another incredible performance. Going into the game in 3rd place, we knew we needed to win. Inspired knocks from Mac Cox (a well made 93) and Richard Hobbs (62) allowed us to put on a huge 281 for 8 wickets. This was enough for us to defend, with @macleod.cox then taking 4/34, making him our First XI Player of The Match. We had done our part, beating @southwatercc by 76 runs, it was now just down to the other results... The results went our way. In just our first season in Division 4, we have managed to get promoted. It is simply an outstanding achievement! Well done to all who have been involved with the 1's this season👏Unfortunately for our 2's, the story was quite the opposite. Losing to @eastergatecc by 5 wickets, we fall just short of first place, finishing in second. It just wasn't our day sadly. Nonetheless we saw notable performances from Dave Mangold (35) and Ronald Reene (47*) with the bat, with wickets shared between bowlers. For his contributions with the bat and behind the stumps, @ronald.reene was our 2's Player of The Match. This leaves us in the Division 11 West Play Off to be #Rustington #rustingtoncricketclubo#rustingtonccc#uptherustysr#sussexcricketleagues#sussexs#cricketloverg#cricketex #cricketlover #cricket ...
